A free sports physical will be available to Midland students entering 3rd through 12th grades on June 3rd from 1 to 4pm at the Midland High school gym. Special Olympic athletes can get their physical from 1pm to 1:30pm only. Sports physicals for athletes will start at 1:30pm. Families with last names beginning with the letters A through M should be at the gym between 1:30pm to 2:45pm and last names beginning with N through Z should be at the gym between 2:45 to 4:00pm.
Medical history and parent signature are still required on the physical form prior to the physical exam. You may pick up your physical form at elementary or high school campus Monday through Friday May 27th through June 2nd from 8:00 am until 3:30pm or you may pick up a form at the Pleasant Plains Clinic.
Family social distancing will be enforced at all times and you may stay in your vehicles until called to enter the gym. Please do not come to the gym on June 3rd if you have had fever of 100.4 in the last two days or if you have a cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or if you have had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days.
Physicals are required to start summer work outs on June 8th. This physical will be free to athletes and is required prior to participation in sports. If your child does not get a physical at this time then you will be responsible to see your primary care provider for one. Coaches will give out summer schedules on June 3rd after students complete their physical. If you have questions please contact Coach Pugh or Nurse Ashley at 501-345-2610.

The School Board approved tentative dates for graduation as follows:
June 26th, July 24th, and August 7th
We are currently working on something to honor our graduates in May; however, we will have a ceremony as soon as the Governor allows gatherings. Thank you for your patience with this.

Midland School District served fifty-four (54) students last year. Seventeen (17) of those students held a 504 or IEP for dyslexia.
The programs used to serve the serves are of appropriate range, depending on the age and needs of the student. Our district utilizes Phonics First Foundations, Phonics First Structures, and Connections.
