Sleep Requirements For Children

3 years     12-12.5 hours

4 years     11.5-12 hours

5 years     11 hours

Parents should try to limit motion sleep, such as naps in a car.  Parents should try to have a regular bedtime with a routine, such as a bedtime story.

 

CHILDREN WHO ARE READ TO ON A REGULAR BASIS SHOW MORE INTEREST IN BOOKS, HAVE A HIGHER VOCABULARY AND LEARN TO READ MORE EASILY........AND JUST 20 MINUTES A DAY IS ALL IT TAKES.   BEDTIME STORIES ARE GREAT FOR FORMING THAT DAILY ROUTINE.
