English 10-12, Oral Communications Teacher
I graduated from Sulphur Rock High School in 1997. From there, I attended ASU Jonesboro and graduated in 2001.
I attained a B.S.E. in English/ literacy from ASU in 2001. I passed the Praxis test for oral communications in 2009 and added that credit to my degree. I am also a certified forklift driver, but I don't really get to put that to much use these days.
Along with several other teachers at Midland, I have attended LDC training at NAESC in Melbourne. I also attended Literacy Lab training under Ken Stamatis at Harding University in Searcy.
I taught 7th and 8th grade literacy at Newport from 2003-2009. I came to Midland in 2009 and have been here since then, teaching 10th, 11th, and 12th literacy and oral communications.
My wife Leia and I have one son, Jadon. He's a folk-singing hippie.
In my spare time, I play music, either as a member of the Lockhouse Orchestra, The Natural Disasters, with my sister, or by myself.
